Anthony Harland

Tony is Professor of Higher Education at the University of Otago and works in the area of policy and practice. He is also Chair of the Ecology Program at the University and has taught marine ecology for the last 35 years.

Thomas Parkinson

Thomas Parkinson

Tom Parkinson is Senior Lecturer in Higher Education at the University of Kent, UK, where he leads the MA in Higher Education and is co-lead of the Migration and Movement Signature Research Theme network. Tom’s work centers on understanding and supporting international academic collaboration and on building higher education capacity, particularly in post-conflict and resource-poor settings. Tom chairs the Academic Development Steering Group of the Council for At Risk Academics (Cara) Syria Program.

Marion Pearson

 Marion Pearson

Marion Pearson is Professor of Teaching in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia. She is an award-winning instructor, has served as Director of the BSc (Pharm) and PharmD programs, and is an active member of the Pharmacy Education Research and Leadership research collaborative. She has been involved in numerous teaching innovations and several major curriculum renewals during her 39-year career.

Giga Zedania

Giga Zedania

Giga Zedania is currently а professor and head of the Center for Advanced Studies at Ilia State University (Tbilisi, Georgia), where he also served as a dean (2006-2010) and a rector (2014-2022).  He studied philosophy, sociology, and cultural studies in Georgia, the USA, Hungary, and Germany, obtaining his Ph.D. from Ruhr University Bochum. His publications range from European intellectual history to the socio-political transformation of the South Caucasus. He is a member of the governing council of the Magna Charta Observatory.
