Digital Learning and Support in Building Resilient Learning Communities

COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the education sector tos uch an extent that it is even more crucial now to prepare students to adapt with new learning approaches to meet future challenges. Research suggests that resilience is associated with coping with university and academic success (Waxman et al., (2003). Thus, Heriot-Watt University Malaysia has conducted a pilot project to enhance the student learning experience. It involves staff-student collaboration by introducing educational intervention to assist students in building resilience and strategies to adapt with academic demands of online learning. This proposed model can then be adopted and scaled to wider global community across campuses.
