Though conference delegates are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements, each year IUT identifies and recommends places where we think you might like to stay. This year our host, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, has secured discounted rates at two hotels within easy walking distance of the conference venue, which is located at 161 West Wisconsin Avenue, near the Milwaukee River.
Marriott Residence Inn
Close to the conference venue and connected to the conference center via a skybridge, the three-star Marriott Residence Inn is located at 648 North Plankinton Avenue, right on the Milwaukee River. The Mariott offers free Internet, free breakfasts, and excellent river views. It is also pet friendly. Hyatt Regency Milwaukee
Slightly farther away, the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee is a four-star hotel located at 333 West Kilbourn Avenue, four blocks to the north of the conference site, with which it is connected through skybridges. The hotel has free Internet service, a fitness center, and an onsite restaurant, Bistro 333, plus a Starbucks located just off the lobby. Like the Mariott, it is also pet friendly.
